These are some of the photos taken on the occasion of the gala "Viva L'Italia." The gala was held at the Farimont Hotel of San Francisco in October of 2013. The galas was a fundraiser for the "Concerto of the Two Bays," and the Launch of "Unite the Two Bays." The Concerto came out to be a Guinness Book affair with about 500 instrumentalists and singers from the Teatro San Carlo of Napoli and San Francisco's Opera performing Verdi's Requiem together under the baton of Maestro Nicola Luisotti at the War Memorial Opera. The stage of the Opera had to be enlarged with a special addition to accommodate all the performers so thta Luisotti directed the concert from among the public.
