Our family is relatively new to California. My husband was hired by Measurex during the technical boom of the early 70s. We are originally from Rochester, NY though there were a few years in Phoenix, AZ on our way to CA. We settled in San Jose, and at that time, our closest relatives lived in Arcadia, CA. This was a major change for me whose family once won a contest for having the largest number of cousins. Now I am a widow who has spent the greater part of my life here, and my children and grandchildren call CA home.
